Update: CANVAS Salon Mask Policy
Thank you so much for your patience regarding CANVAS Salons’ Mask Policy.
After talking with the CANVAS Team and taking the time to put together the best plan of action for us, I am hopeful that our new Mask Policy will ensure that everyone feels safe and supported in their own individual decisions.
As you know on May 14th, 2021, Governor Cooper’s Executive Order 215 lifted COVID-19 restrictions and effective immediately, social distance and emergency maximum capacity limits have been changed and the CDC Face covering guidelines have changed. I encourage you to review them here.
The following Guidelines make up our New Mask Policy, which goes into effect May 20th, 2021:
- Stylists and Clients are no longer required to wear a mask in the salon.
Depending on your level of comfort, we welcome and respect your choice when it comes to masking in the salon. - If you prefer that your stylist also wear a mask, please ask them, if your stylist declines please be let management know so that we can schedule you with a stylist that will accommodate your request.
- Some stylists may still wear masks during your appointment.
- We will continue
- To follow stringent cleaning and disinfecting protocols
- Not to double book clients
- Maintain Social Distancing between chairs
- We will resume
- Drinks & Snacks for our guests
- We ask that if you are feeling sick or may have been exposed, whether you’ve been vaccinated or not, please reschedule your appointment. Our cancellation fee will be waived.
And finally, as we all know, it’s hard to NOT talk about it. It’s a major topic of conversation almost everywhere we go. But, we kindly ask that all conversations regarding vaccinations, corona-virus, and anything related to these subjects, including politics, be left outside of the salon to continue to create a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable salon experience for all.
We respect your privacy and will not question your medical history, we also ask that you respect others by not engaging in conversations about these topics. We’re excited to see your lovely faces again!
